Clique interviews

Thursday September 15,2016

Today I interviewed senior varsity cheerleader Alli O! I asked her a variety of questions about cliques, and here's what she said...

Kensie: "Alli, do you think our school has cliques?"

Alli: "yes we do have cliques in our school"

Kensie: What cliques do we have in our school?"

Alli: " we have town cliques like Brimfield, Sturbridge, Holland, Wales, Brookfield, we have hick cliques, sports teams cliques, smart kids cliques, preppy kids, and tech kids."

Kensie: "Do different grades have different cliques?"

Alli: " Yes, its like every other year they have the same but different cliques. The seniors and sophmores and the Juniors and the freshmen just have similar cliques, and it just switches off."

Kensie: " Do you think the cliques you where in in high school will affect you in a long run?"

Alli: "No but yes at the same time. The drama and bad things that happened, ill forget about. But I know that the people who are in my clique will be in my life forever."

Kensie: " How do you portray the cliques in our school?'

Alli: " The cliques are defined, but not exclusive."

Kensie: " How do other cliques make you feel?"

Alli: " Other cliques really define something's I do in school. If some people are at an event that I want to attend and I don't really like them, then I won't show up at that event."

Thanks Alli for your input!

Today I interviewed Zach Kelly, a junior band member and student council representative. I asked him a series of questions just like Alli's about the cliques in our school, lets hear what he said....

Kensie: "Zach, do you think our school has cliques?"

Zach: "yes!"

Kensie: What cliques do we have in our school?"

Zach: "popular girls and guys"

Kensie: "Do different grades have different cliques?"

Zach: "yes there are popular guys and popular girls in every grade"

Kensie: "Do you think the cliques you where in in high school will affect you in a long run?"

Zach: "no, I really don't consider myself in a clique, I just have my friends but we aren't defined"

Kensie: " How do you portray the cliques in our school?"

Zach: "everyone has a different personality, some are mean some are not. It depends on the day on how I would portray them."

Kensie: " How do other cliques make you feel?"

Zach: "I don't really care for them."

Thanks Zach!

Along with interviewing Zach I also interviewed junior Victoria Miles. Asking the same questions as Alli and Zach lets see what Victoria thinks.....

Kensie: "Victoria, do you think our school has cliques?"

Victoria: " Yes"

Kensie: "What cliques do we have in our school?"

Victoria: "Athletes, show choir, cheerleaders and smarites."

Kensie: "Do different grades have different cliques?"

Victoria: "Not so much with grades as to the different athletic groups we have in the school as a unit."

Kensie: "Do you think the cliques you where in in high school will affect you in a long run?"

Victoria: "Yes, it will affect you personality. If you hung out with mean girls in high school them you are most likely to have a poor attitude. But if you are well rounded them it would make you a better person."

Kensie: " How do you portray the cliques in our school?"

Victoria: "Athletes= superior, Smarties= overlooked. Our school cares about athletics way more than anything else."

Kensie: " How do other cliques make you feel?"

Victoria: "Any clique could make anyone feel that something's wrong will them and make them feel self conscious because your not in with them."

Thanks so much Alli, Zach and Victoria!!
